No. The City does not have a rent control ordinance, or law.

However, there is a Rent Review Board Ordinance that provides voluntary arbitration for complexes of three units or more.

If a tenant receives an increase that is

  • more than 10% of what they are currently paying, OR
  • more than $75.00, OR
  • more than one increase within a 12-month period,
  • they have the right to request a hearing before the Rent Review Board.
